New Job in the TENDERLOIN!

As a 100% chowhound, part of my decision process about whether or not to accept a job has to be the potential for culinary delights, treasures and discoveries in the neighboring countryside. As a recent ex-New Yorker, there are still areas unknown to me, but I do have fond memories of places like Shalimar in the Tenderloin.

Which is a long way of saying that soon I will be starting a job soon on Leavenworth nr. Golden Gate -- kind of belly of the Tenderloin beast -- and would love to get suggestions as I start a new set of culinary explorations in that area! In return, I promise to file a report back to y'all...
