Jo Jo, this is a follow-up to your post of 2/12/2004, responding to my earlier one.
"Use seedless rye cut along it's length...lay the 3 pieces in front of you from top to bottom..."
You've done this a thousand times, but I am still trying to get the picture. A loaf of unsliced rye bread is a big block of bread and would produce a whole lot more than 3 vertical slices, or the 3 slices would be 2" thick, each. I'm sorry- what am I missing here? Thanks for a little more clarification!
