Tried Fada, the new French restaurant in Williamsburg (at Driggs and N. 8th) on V-day. Entrees I thought left much to be desired--my coq au vin was pretty bland and my fiancee said his filet mignon was unexceptional. My dessert, however, fondant de chocolat I believe, was pretty divine. Up there with my personal favorites--the warm chocolate torte at Oliva and the chesnut pudding at Gnocco. Anybody have similar favorites at moderately priced resaurants?
