Hi,

I'm reposting this from an LA Board discussion on different types of DIY Japanese food.

Some of the recs are a mystery to me, if anyone woudn't mind defining some of the follwing types of DIY Japanese food mentioned inthe replies, I'd appreciate it.

(also, I notice -yaki and -nabe show up more than once, what do these mean?)

Sukiyaki
Nabe
robata-yaki
shabu-shabu
teppan-yaki
okonomiyaki
yakisoba
Yosenabe
Chanko Nabe
Shinsengumi

THANKS!
