I used to work near this little grill-table joint (known to some locally as Korean Barbecue Restaurant) on Rt 3A, and visited regularly for lunch, but rarely get out that way anymore. Met a friend for lunch there recently and am happy to report that it is still very, very good. We did bulgoki and spicy pork barbecue, both just about perfect. I always get a good feeling when they snip the short ribs for you tableside.
Excellent panchan (including thin wafers of pickled daikon, when I'm used to seeing it shredded) and rice, raw garlic slices for the grill on request (they seemed pleased when I asked for it). Good tea, which I'm ignorant enough about to have to guess it was maybe a roasted barley tea. $21/head with tax and tip. Nice when old beloved places live up to the nostalgia.
