Jaipur on Pico

Tried to go to lunch at Ambala yesterday but Westwood Blvd was like a parking lot because of the road constructin (will it ever end). Wound up at Jaipur close to Westside Pavillon and had a splendid buffet with white tablecloths and linen napkins. Good vegetable pakoras and chutneys, salad, raita, three kinds of chicken, tandoori, masala and curry; squash and potatoes, spinach (saag but no cheese), eggplant, rice, naan and desserts the honey ball and tapioca (I am sure that's not the name but it tastes like that only better). $7.50 plus salty lassi $2 a head. Great lunch, nice surroundings and friendly host person. Parking ain't bad either.
