Jack's Classic Burgers

This little stand is at the corner of Riverside Drive and Tujunga, in the parking lot of the strip mall. Back during the heavy rains I'd driven by a few times and noticed six or eight people each time sitting at tables with umbrellas eating in the rain so I figured that the food was probably good. On Saturday we stopped for a "tide-us-over" burger before a late lunch and weren't disappointed. For $3.10 we got a 1/4 lb burger, cooked medium-rare as requested, with a slice of red onion and also grilled yellow onions, nicely browned. Pretty tasty dill pickel slices and the bun was toasted all the way to the edges. Our initial judgement is that it was better than Fatburger and Boulevard Burger in Woodland Hills. We'll be back for a second opinion.
