Jackalope Ranch -- Palm Springs Area. Filthy Bar, Bad Service, Long Wait

stamfoodie | Mar 30, 201503:36 PM     2

Jackalope Ranch is gorgeous. It ends there. Since they don't take reservations for patio seating we waited in line 15 minutes, only to be told that we were in the wrong line. We went to the patio and was told there would be 45 minute wait, so we settled at the bar, which had a bad smell and a scruffy looking bartender who proceeded to mix the weakest drinks we ever had out. When my wife asked for more liquor, he rolled his eyes, returned with added ice and placed it back on the bar without a comment or apology.

After an hour of waiting in the feted air, we left for the Cliff House and were seated and served full drinks within minutes.

They are professionals. Jackalope is Amateur Night at the Roxy.
