I've been reading the boards over the past few weeks and taking lots of notes. I'll be in NOLA for the first time next Wednesday night - Sunday afternoon. My birthday also falls that Friday. I'd like to get my reservations in today, but I'm having a hell of a time narrowing down my list. I was hoping to get a little guidance!
I have all of the oyster stops (Felix's, Acme, Casamento's), the po-boy stops (Parkway, Domilise), and the breakfast/brunch stops (Croissant d'Or, Stanley's Camellia, Coquette), the lunch stops (Mr.B's, Emeril's, Cochon Butcher), and the drink stops (Bouligny, 3 Muses, Hermes, Carousel, Sazerac, French 75, Willie Mae's, d.b.a, Cure, Domenica) but dinner I'm struggling with. I only have 4 nights!!!
Where should I go? Where could I skip? What could I do for lunch instead?
Also - my big question... Do I need to dress up for dinner (I'm female)?
And, not sure if this helps - but I'm staying in the garden district and was planning to mostly bike/walk/street car.
Thanks in advance!
