I will have my parents visiting my in Cambridge at the end of the month. I've scheduled a tour of the State House at 11. Tour lasts about 30-45 min. Plan to walk over to the Paramount for lunch. And then take the green line to the MFA to see some of the new exhibits. Dinner reservations for Sweet Cheeks at 7:30.
I don't want to take too long at lunch because I would like the option of going back to Cambridgeport between the MFA and dinner to rest if necessary.
So I guess I want to know if Paramount is a reasonable place to stop for lunch or if there is a better option in the area. My criteria is close to State House/Green Line, salads or non carb heavy menu options, and quick.
Also does anyone have a suggestion for a lunch place near the Larz Anderson Museum for Sunday? A non brunch (or at least a lunch oriented) menu? This past weekend we ended up at the Haven which was good, but they didn't have any real lunch options.
