The other other other Little Italy on Harlem?

Mgmax | Jan 28, 2002 10:16 PM

Okay, so there's the Italian neighborhood everyone knows about, on Taylor Street, and then there are the other ones that locals know about, like Noble Square and on Oakley. And then there's the one that nobody seems to know about (other than the few thousand people who shop there every weekend) on Harlem around Belmont to Irving.

Anybody here have any recommendations? I haven't been blown away by the couple of places I tried, although I surprisingly had quite decent pizza at a place with the least promising name (Caponie's, complete with Sopranos and Goodfellas posters). But between the restaurants and the markets there must be some places within at least barking distance of, say, Bari on Grand.
