I have mild acid reflux and have been having trouble drinking red wine lately (white is ok), but we just returned from Italy and I drank red all the time w/no problems. Do you think that's because I was having wine w/large quantities (!!) of delicious food all the time or because the wine there has fewer sulfates?
Inspired by the wonderful trattorias all over Italy am having a Roman-themed dinner party. Have been searching, to no avail, for those small glass pitchers you see in every trattoria that hold the house wine. Have even checked restaurant supply stores. Anyone have a source? Many thanks.
