In Trento, Italy, I had these amazing little pastries that I'd never seen before, and I'm wondering if any of you know what they're called, where to get them here, and/or how to make them. They were extremely light puff pastry pieces that seemed to have been topped with a meringue, swirled with a touch of melted apricot jam, and then baked until puffy and golden. Everything is crisp and delicate, and the things just melt in your mouth. They keep for days and days without getting soggy, too. Any idea what they were?
