Italian in North Beach or near by

Catherine di S. | Jul 30, 200303:27 AM     7

We are taking our nephew to Beach Blanket Babylon. We are hoping to take him to a good Italian dinner afterward. He has been studying Italian and recently travelled to Italy. My thoughts included Bocca di Giovanni,L'osteria del Forno,Capp's Corner and the Antica Trattoria. We'd like to stay in walking distance to Club Fugazzi. I haven't been to Boca di Giovanni in ten years..is it still good? I'd appreciate any recommendations. He's 15,with a fairly adventuresome palate and would be charmed by the authenticity of a place. We had also considered Cafe
Macaroni but don't even know if it's still open. Also, what is The House on Grant?
