Il Bico is at 480 Commonwealth Ave. On Friday Feb 25th the Herald food critic May Schafer wrote a review of Il Bico that is as scathing as I have seen recently. It has to be read to be believed. Her words depict a restaurant that sounds at the level of prison -- or even --airline food. Il Bico is in Kenmore Square near Boston University and could be an excellent example of the college food syndrome that Seth has spoken of. In the college and university atmosphere apparently bad food drives out good.(except --possibly -- at Harvard).

When they tell you that Il Bico's pizza wouldn't make the grade at Fenway Park you know eating there has to be an experience to avoid.

Has anyone tried Il Bico?
