Istanbul is the kind of place that looks quite like it is an eventual destination for some Kebabs.....or what other items they have, that you may want.
I have not a clue of the other items, but I ordered kebabs. I specifically ordered the lamb.
They looked so big and took up much of the skewer, the ones sitting behind the glass.
Well, I did not want rice, and I did not want bread. He began to charge me for the kebabs only, and I saw the ring up...then it suddenly turned to sandwich as I was forking (no pun intended) over the money. Extra money for items I did not want.
The meat was dry, and a tiny fraction of what the skewers that sat behind the glass would have looked like, once grilled.
I never think to photograph bad food, but one should ponder the idea, certainly.
I have come familiar with Central Asia Kebabs, and dare say, this is the place to set your destination for, venue that is, for a kebab.
The Turks may have been the rulers, but obviously Sultan Mustafa, did not eat as good as Seljuk aristocracy in Uzbek, and this jealousy may have been the cause for the overthrow.
Find out for yourself.....
