I want to have soup night and a friend suggested making it a group cooking effort. I have certain qualms about this idea, my kitchen is small, my utensils and cooking implements are limited and I don't like working in the kitchen with other people. Beside these reservations it sounds like a fun idea, hee-hee. Before I totally nix the idea I was wondering if anyone has some good ideas for soups and any logistical tips (I have Soup Song bookmarked) I plan to have 6-8 guests and most of them are vegetarians. They tend to gravitate towards mediterranean flavors as well as latin american inspired dishes. I'd love to do pho but I don't think they will like it very much. I am tempted to do very little and let them take over my kitchen, I could just sit back drink wine and direct traffic. TIA for you help. P.S. the link below was the inspiration for the group cook, eat and drink idea.
