Anyone have a great prune bread recipe to share? I just made the one in the "Bread Bible" and was a little underwhelmed. The recipe called for chopping the dried prunes in the food processor, then adding 1/2 cup whole wheat flour to the prunes, along with the other dry ingredients. Liquid ingredients were kept separate, and the prune/flour mixture was added to the butter/eggs at the end. It seems like it would have been better to process the prunes with the liquid, however, because the resulting bread wasn't very 'prune-y', and also had a somewhat unnappealing pale color.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
