ISO: PRESERVED LEMONS : RECIPE & USES

I am looking for the best recipe to make Moroccan style preserved lemons.

Is it preferable to use Meyer lemons? They are available now and rather inexpensive at Grand Central Market.

I am looking for traditional and also new and unusual ways to use preserved lemons.
