ISO Mochi-type dessert in Chinatown

Coming up from Philly tomorrow and will be munching around Chinatown. I'm looking for a bakery goody I had while visiting Chicago -- it's about the size of a plump egg roll, has the beaten rice exterior (mochi-like) with a "peanut-dust"-type, very dry filling that spills everywhere when you bite into it.

Can you point me towards a bakery that might carry these?

Also, a friend of mine told me about Dumpling House (on Eldridge btwn Broome & Grand) -- are their dumplings any good, and is it only takeout?
