ISO feedback on upcoming London trip

I'm a Toronto CH heading to London this month on a combined business/pleasure trip with a friend. I've been to London a few times but I'd like to try some new spots. Looking for great chow in a nice atmosphere but nothing in the Gordon Ramsay RHR range. We're staying in Knightsbridge. For dinners, my short(ish)list is: Amaya, Racine, Noura or Fairuz and then maybe Deca, Roka, Yauatcha, Alastair Little or Chez Bruce. Thoughts? Any idea when Pied a Terre is re-opening? Any good Italian rec's for lunch or dinner?

Also, I'd love any suggestions for good breakfast spots (preferably with great coffee) in the Knightsbridge environs (say, within a 1/2 hour walk).

I've been reading on this board about the Borough Market which sounds great. Is it only open on Fridays and Saturdays? Those are the only 2 days of the week we're not there. Are there any good food markets on Thursdays?

That's it for now. Many thanks!
