Does anyone have a basic white or yellow cupcake recipe that uses fruit puree?
I have a lot of frozen strawberries, and would like to use them in a cupcake recipe for a friend. Ideally, it would be strawberry cupcakes with lemon cream cheese frosting.
Can I just get a basic cupcake recipe and substitute some of the liquid with fruit? Something tells me that's not quite right.
Maybe I can just coarsely chop defrosted strawberries and add them to the batter, using a blueberry muffin recipe?
