I had my first taste of banana pudding at Buttercup Bakery (the place of the famed red velvet cupcakes) in Manhattan and haven't been able to find a match in LA. It was like like eating a banana creme pie, but with lots more filling and nilla wafers replacing the crust. YUM. I love Marie Callendar's banana creme pie - I tried Susina's and Grand Luxe Cafe's version and their crusts were hugely disappointing. I saw the picture of Jack n Jill's version (in Beverly Hills) online and it looked like too much bananas and not enough pudding. Anyone recommendations?? Thank you in advance!
