I'm hoping fellow Hounds can help me identify these Pakistani sweets which I got from United Bakery (Est. 1948). I have difficulty understanding the server who told me what each of the dessert is called. I believe they are quite common, and any Urdu or Punjabi speaker may not have difficulty identifying them. The desserts I got (pic below):
Top row (left to right):
- Motichoor Laddu (tastes quite different from Indian ones - United Bakery's version is less sweet, incorporated melon seeds, has a softer texture, and spiced differently)
- Sohan Papdi
Middle row (L to R)
- Gajar Halwa
- Pera (?)
Bottom row (L to R)
- Gulab Jamun
Thanks very much in advance!
