If you were invited to a birthday party (for someone else) on the day of your birthday... what would be a nice touch for you?

Assuming you accepted the invitation to the other person's party...

what sorts of things might you want?

-a separate cake?
-no separate cake buy acknowledgement when it was time to sing happy birthday and an inclusion in the b'day song?

I'm throwing a birthday party on a weekend (a few days before the guest of honor's bday) and the party date will fall on a day where there will be one (possibly two) guests in attendance where it's their 'actual' birthday. I'd like to offer some suggestions to make them feel celebrated as well (asked in advance of the party).

Has anyone found themselves in this type of a situation?

Thanks in advance for your ideas and suggestions.
