I'm serious, especially about the intestines. The crispy fried intestines at Ping's in Elmhurst, and the similar dish at Funky Broome, turned me on to how delicious intestines can be. But there are other ways of preparing intestines. Any recommendations, Chinese or non-Chinese?
As for insects, I once had grasshoppers at a now-closed Chicago restaurant. I enjoyed it, and wanted to try insects again, but haven't yet come across another place that serves them. Isn't there even one place in the five boroughs (or somewhere that can be reached without a car)?
