International Food Warehouse -Lodi NJ

Well, we finally got back to the International Food Warehouse (of What Jim Had for Dinner Fame). We had gone there a few times 5-6 years ago, before the fire. It's certainly newer and cleaner than before. My wife seems to think the selction was even larger before, although it seems about the same to me. We spent enough money, that's for sure. One caveat, which was also true about the old place: Watch the prices as they ring up, I have NEVER gone here without spotting an error (in guess who's favor) on the tape.(We were once charged $18 for a jar of pickles.I had to speak to 3 people to straighten it out). And the attitude is still that it's your fault, not theirs, but at least the tape now lists what you have bought instead of generic terms like "grocery", which makes it a little easier to settle disputes. It will not stop me from going back, but it does detract from an almost perfect food shopping experience. --Ken
