So a few of you guys have suggested hitting TJ-Max on occasion to see what they have. Well, I just picked up a few items to bring home and think about… the All Clad Copper core 5.5 Qt roaster with domed lid for $179, the Thomas Keller 3 qt sauce pan (with a standard AC lid) for $129, and several Ruffoni pieces at least 50% of MSRP (rectangular Roaster 14”x10.5” no lid $129, 7 ¼ qt Oval Roaster $229, and the two larger stock pots for $225 and $250. Nothing but a few finger prints on anything.

Thoughts? That AC CC 5.5 roaster is listed for $455… That seems like a no brainer as I have nothing like it in that size. It seems more like a larger version of my Demeyer 3.5 qt saucier than a roaster. Also need a normal roasting pan so the Ruffoni seems a deal, too.

Interestingly, the rectangular roaster feels the heaviest of the Ruffoni stuff. The big oval roaster is only 4 lbs 14 ounces, whereas the rectangular roaster is 4 lbs 11 oz.

I didn’t pick up either stock pot… Might change my mind… as I have nothing bigger than my new 6qt Fissler 24 stock pot.
