Ok. So, here's the deal. Making dinner tonight, wanting to impress. Like blow his socks off impress. I've got gorgeous squash blossoms, lovely corn. Was thinking something like salmon with a creamy squash blossom sauce and corn flan. But I kind of want something with a good red meat--lamb or venison. But then, do the blossoms work? Would you do the flan? Maybe something else with the corn? Or nothing.
Also, the salad is a caprese with homemade mozzarella, so whatever I come up with needs to follow that well.
