Did you inherit any funky kitchen gadgets and appliances?

When my mother in law sold her house of more than 40 years, she had a lot of old things to get rid of including some of her old kitchen gadgets and appliances. I inherited some nice old English China set from her grandmother, some real mid century serving wares and small kitchen knick knacks like grape fruit carvers(lol), nut grater and salad spinner from Switzerland. None made in China I must say. One of the appliances I got is the Cuisinart food processor...perhaps from 80s or 90s..don't know but it says it's made in Japan and it's really well made. She also gave me one of the first models of Hobart mixer with a glass bowl. It still worked too though I don't use it. She had a lot of server wares from mid century all made in Denmark or Sweden. Also got some sterling silver plates and bowls which I am sure have appreciated in value over the years. Oh and a nice set of steak knives from Italy and France.
Did you receive any special kitchen gadgets from your mom that you still use?
