I was thinking "How can they store a 'smoothie' for months in grocery stores?" when I saw a smoothie in a store that you could buy. This is true for other drinks as well, like certain juices. Or products in general. They are available for weeks, months or longer until they turn bad. I wonder what they add into the mixture for it to last that long? Because, when you make a smoothie in your home with only fruits and put it in the fridge, it will not stay fresh for longer than a half a day. What do you think?
