I'm getting an induction cooktop as there is no gas in my area and now need a new set of cookware. I don't want anything made in China, and I want stainless as I already have a fair amount of Le Creuset. I'm confused about what will work best. I do NOT like the All Clad handles as I find them very uncomfortable. That being said, I do have one All Clad D7 pan with a handle that I find great - However I believe the D7 line is discontinued and I do find that pan heavy (and it's only a 2 qt). Any advice on a set that will perform well and not be too heavy. I am afraid a 7 ply pan will be too heavy for me to handle, but don't want something too light which may make the dreaded buzzing sound. Thoughts on Williams Sonoma Thermo-Clad ( nice looking and comfortable handles)? I see All Clad has a d3 compact line that seems to have the same handle as the d7. Thoughts on that. Must be able to put in the dishwasher as I am now officially lazy. Other suggestions. Thanks.
