The even induction cooktop, if there is one

Pertti | Aug 6, 202012:55 PM     62

I'm not looking for a new cooktop right now, but had the idea that it would be nice to know what would be the most even heating induction cooktop or tech in general. I believe most here know by now that induction isn't a very even heating tech in general when it comes to "regular" home appliances at least.. but places some demand on the cookware to handle that.

I ran a few searches and came up with this list of some "powerful" home induction cooktops.:

https://blog.yaleappliance.com/most-p...

The winner there, JENNAIR JIC4536XS has some dual hob in the center, described:

Center Rear Size: 12"/9"
Center Rear Power: 5000W/2800W
Center Rear Type: Dual

My cooktops most powerful hob is 2300W and with power setting that one will blast 3700W. Now if I compare this to the dual of the Jennair, theres a clear difference in wattage, but I'm uncertain how big the actual inductor could be on the Jennair or the runner ups there. So, the bigger the donut, the more even heat I figure.

Then I briefly dived into commercial induction and found for example this monster 8000w, among less powerful ones:

Any ideas, comments, knowledge of powerful appliances or ones with some cool tech that improves evennes? I bet someone here knows about commercial induction! Are they how much more even heating compared to home appliances?
