Indonesian Food Find in HK

JT | Sep 1, 200511:55 AM

I just wanted to say thanks to Cecilia for HK recommendations. Ho Hung Kee was nice for wonton noodle, and Hong Kong generally, and Causeway Bay specifically, turned out to be great. Some local friends took me to Macau food and to Victor Sirait Indonesia Restaurant [19 Irving Street, Causeway Bay, 2576-5444], where I had the best Indonesian food I’ve had outside Indonesia. It’s a little storefront place, across the street from the Regal Hong Kong Hotel, and a bit away from the Little Jakarta madness under the ring-shaped skybridge.

I didn’t get a chance to try Fuk Lum Moon [plane left too early on Saturday] for dim sum, but I did have okay dim sum and amazing roast pork [not char siu] at the Victoria City Restaurant in the CITIC Tower one weekday.

Thanks again.
