Inconsistent brunch quality at Splendido - Anyone else had the same experience?

Had brunch at Splendido back in April and was so amazed - it was the best brunch I've ever had. Went back a few weeks ago and the meal was disappointing. Had the best pork belly and beef tartare first time around - The pork belly was a huge one piece of meat, about 6 inches long, and was the most juicy pork belly I've ever had (and I've had many in the past 8-9 years at restaurants like North 44), it was food orgasm; the beef tartare also had the perfect texture and seasoning, the best beef tartare I've ever had (e.g. comparing to Balthazar in NYC and Le Select in Toronto).

However this time the pork belly was half the portion, cut into 3-4 thin slices, seared both sides and hence very dry. The beef tartare had the same perfect texture but was mixed with way too much sauce - the mustard was overpowering the meat and made it almost inedible. In addition, the staff forgot to put the onion confit on top of the bone marrow we ordered before serving - nobody noticed until I asked.

Am I the only one who experienced this inconsistency? I will not be going back for sure. It's disappointing because I thought Splendido was a gem!
