Inauthentic But Really Good Philly Cheese Steak

OK, I happened on this entirely by accident. It's not authentic as you will see by the ingredients. But very tasty and MTO. It's a French Roll toasted in (apparently) a panini grill. Inside is a bunch of incredibly thin sliced and very tender beef, a slice of pepper jack cheese, a slice of tomato, some sliced onions, a piece of lettuce, some mayo/mustard spread. It's about 7" long and 4" wide, served--after a delay for the making and toasting--warm. $5.95 at Alex's Deli and Coffee House

Recommended if you're looking for a good sandwich during the work week.

It varies from other such sandwiches I've experienced in that you don't have to fight it or tear at it with your teeth. It just seemed to melt in my mouth. I can't believe I ate the whole thing soooo fast!
