I've been reading through the posts, and have also read the "Read this First" section, so I (hopefully) won't burden you folks with a mindless question. Here's the scenario...
My wife and I are coming up to NYC in November to celebrate our tenth anniversary - we have tickets to the matinee of The Producers, and are staying overnight at the Iroquois (ditched all three kids with the grandparents!). This is an incredibly big deal for us, and although I'd love to go for multiple dollar signs, my wife is much more practical and would rather not forfeit our mortgage payment in order to eat dinner! To complicate matters further, there is also a remote possibility that we'll get tickets to an evening show as well, so our dining window is kind of short. After reading the posts, I'm seeking advice... (note - not tremendously adventurous in the cuisine department!) Here are my possible choices at this point, but I'm definitely open to suggestions...
Trattoria Dopo Teatro (didn't see anything about this)
Any other suggestions (we've eaten at Becco, and I'd rather not go back - prefer to broaden our horizons a little!)
Thank you very much for your advice! I look forward to reading!
