Just saw Michael Lomonaco on the Charlie Rose show. He pointed out that many restaurants are donating more than the minimum 10% (some considerably more) and suggested people call to get details when making their plans. He also mentioned that the funds will assist not only the families of his people but other food service workers lost in the WTC.
The interview itself (repeated this afternoon, October 11th) at about 2:10 or 2:15 on Channel 13 was worth watching just to hear his story on why he is still with us. Of course, hearing him discuss his personal loss of over 70 co-workers and friends is yet another of the many tragic stories we've all been saddened by in the past month.
