One of the best deals I've come across in a long time. I ordered a la carte, but my companion opted for the prix fixe (what is that in Italian?) I ended up paying more than double, but his food was just as good, and as well-presented, as mine. Choice of a crab and avocado dish or a soup to start, followed by a pasta or fish of the day: in this case, a risotto or a slab of pan-seared yellowtail on a kind of ratatouille. And a slice of chocolate cake for dessert. Fabulous value for just $18. Excellent service by a fleet of attentive waiters. They were prompt and polite, and the chef himself spent a lot of time in the room looking after the clientele.
This place is getting busier, but it's still not attracting as many people as you'd expect from the quality of the food and the prices. Perhaps the restaurant is undercutting itself with the trattoria next door!
