We were there early on Saturday evening, so the crowds were not a problem. The chefs were nice enough and the service was quite pleasant. However, the sushi was just average; we opted for "omakase." There are a number of sushi bars in this city that are about at this quality, and it was quite expensive for two: with one small sake, including tip & tax, we were about $105 AND we each shared every order of sushi -- ONE piece per person at each order.
For a much better value and for extremely good sushi, I would highly prefer and recommend without hesitation: AZAMI SUSHI on Melrose. We enjoyed a very impressive dinner there and every item was amazing! We kept waiting for something that was just so-so, but it just didn't happen there. EVERYTHING was top quality!
I could continue here the praises of Sushi Azami, but my point here is that Ike Sushi was very disappointing overall.
