About 4 or 5 years ago, my wife and I were in San Francisco enjoying the restaurants and sights. We got a tip from a guy on a bus about a Chinese restaurant where we subsequently went for lunch. It was wonderful and inexpensive, but our memories are hazy.
We think it was on Geary (but are not certain) and I specifically remember some letters or citations hung on the wall, one of which was from SF's mayor, extolling the place's virtues. It was a longish, narrow room and the food was inexpensive.
Can anyone help us refresh our memory as we are coming back to SF in late March and would enjoy dining there again. I know the description doesn't give much to go on, but I just thought I'd try.
