Hello, I want to make a melon starter for Christmas dinner for those that won't eat my prawn cocktail. ( kids and vegetarians)
I realize it sounds like I am straight from the 70's :) I'm a sucker for tradition and it is always the same Christmas food in our house.
I want the starter to be as simple as possible so I though just melon slices with a fruity sauce or something. Does anyone know any recipes for a quick and painless fruit sauce or have any ideas on how to make a melon more interesting. Its a cantaloupe.
