Ideas for lavender pasta?

opehlia payne | Aug 12, 201508:03 AM     2

Hi there. I recently picked up some lavender fettuccine noodles at the farmer's market, with the idea that I'd have them with ratatouille. While I haven't ruled that out entirely, I did have an unfortunate incident not long ago with some poorly prepared moussaka that has more or less put me off eggplant, at least for the time being.

Does anyone have any ideas as to sauces to serve with lavender pasta that don't include eggplant, and won't overwhelm the flavor of the pasta? I'm still not ruling out something ratatouille-like, but it would be nice to have some other ideas from the "expert" home cooks here, as well. :)
