Idaho, Montana & Wyoming to Deadwood, South Dakota

DD | Aug 19, 200411:39 AM     5

Hi. We are anticipating an ambitious car trip, driving from Washington to Deadwood, SD.

One way mostly via I90 (Missoula, Butte, Livingston, Big Timber, Billings, Sheridan, Buffalo and on to Deadwood) and through the Black Hills.

Returning we'll be off interstate to Red Lodge and through upper Yellowstone, before heading back up to I90.

East of Spokane-Coeur d'Alene this will be new gastronomic territory for us, so suggestions are very much appreciated.

Would also appreciate any tips on the Beartooth Highway and any good newstands or cyber cafes along the route.

Thanks!
