Best Ice Cream Sundae in L.A.

P & J | Sep 14, 2003 02:46 PM

We are forever on the hunt for the best ice cream sundae in L.A. So far, Twohey's in South Pasadena on Huntington Drive has the vote. The bittersweet and milk chocolate hot fudge sundaes are the most popular, and the raspberry is also good for those who want something less sweet. The toppings, i.e. heavy whipped cream, toasted almonds, are pretty taste-worthy.

You can sit at the counter (a nearby pharmacy on Fair Oaks has a more authentic soda fountain atmosphere, but the ice cream sundaes are horrible), or in one of their booths. Don't let the look of an overgrown Denny's fool you. The sundaes, which they are known for, are pretty good.

Any other suggestions on where to fill our sweet tooth for good old fashioned ice cream sundaes?
