I had forgotten how wonderful the Hump can be. Their combination of fish from around the world (diner last night had fish from Alaska, Japan, Boston, Miami and the best local fish) is a terrific experience.
The presentation has improved greatly. Beautiful dishes and fish arrangements were handled perfectly. We started with a seaweed cocktail followed by raw vegetables from Japan. Then a series of terrific dishes from sea bass, to young yellowtail, to sweet shrimp, to toro, all with a special soy or salt or spice. Then out of nowhere came soup and then a marinated then grilled black cod with crab cakes. More dishes followed until they brought the final dish something new, an assortment of sushi, LOL.
A memorable experience for 3 hours and 23 minutes that seemed to fly by. Total bill was $242 before tip. An amazing bargain.
