Hugo's or Shaw's for seafood?

indywaiter | Jan 18, 2006 01:00 AM

I will be meeting my brother in chicago to celebrate a birthday and we have decided that seafood is what we want. We will be staying at the Hyatt on wacker but distance is no big concern. Which one does everyone think we should go to Hugos or Shaws? I realize that Hugo's serves Gibson's steaks but my brother will be having steak the night before. So by the seafood menu alone which is a better restaurant? I have dined at Shaw's for lunch and thought it was very good. I am leaning toward Hugo's simply because ive never eaten there. The reviews I have been reading for Hugo's are good so that also makes it appealing as well. We appreciate all opinions on this topic.

Also can anyone provide any info on the restaurant in Chicago called Raw Bar inc? What I have heard is they serve delicious crab legs? Any insight about this restaurant would be much appreciated.
