What a great place this is! My wife's work provided a dinner for us after Jett was born recently (I picked the place) and the food was great for the most part. I asked for a fax of the menu and had an idea of what I would be ordering before i arrived at the restaurant. I sat down asked to look the menu over again and ordered a tequila and not only did they bring me a fine shot of mex nectar but also some sangrita to accompany it. I love sangrita and this one was great! As I sipped my drink I noticed a "special" menu advertising SQUASH BLOSSOMS. I swicthed my previous app from snapper tamale to sb empenada with huitlacoche. As an entree I went with cabrito. My wife ordered ceviche and the small chicken in spices. I got home opened everything up and it looked great, the only thing thast was dissapointing was the fact that they gave me the regular empanadas instead of the squash blossom ones. Well the reg emps were still great and I enjoyed them, I was just a little dissapointed. My wife recvd a generous amount of exceptional red snapper ceviche. My entree of cabrito was good and my wife's chicken was phenomanal ( I almost never order chicken at restaurants).
I plan on checking out this place as soon as possible so I can get a few squash bblossom dishes. I also think I can make a meal out of a couple appetizers in order to save a buck or so.
As far as higher end places go this a keeper and I hope it stays around for a long time.
