Went here on my way back from Mass. to NYC the other afternoon based on the recs I got from my negative Pepe's post (below). The pizza was astoundingly good. I started with a house salad which was drenched in vinegar so I was a bit wary about the pie. I ordered the white clams casino pie since I'd never seen one offered before. It was everything Pepe's was not:

The toppings were all fresh, the crust was thin, crispy yet with a good deal of chew in it, it varied from being doughy to crunchy, burnt to chewy, flat to little bumps and puffs of yeastiness, the toppings were in abundance and the crust held up, the bacon and clams and mixed red/green peppers combo was a delightful briny, smoky, fruity sensation. I was crazy about this pie and couldn't wait for the next day to finish the leftovers for breakfast! Bravo! and thanks to all who suggested trying Modern. I definitely will pull off the highway again to eat here.
