This is a funky, comfortable spot off the beaten track with good Q working. The cornbread was hot, with accompanying maple butter - there wasn't a crumb left in very short order, which meant the hushpuppies didn't get the attention they deserved. The baked beans are to die for (they're homemade), the slaw is crisp and light and a perfect foil for the ribs in their crust of dry rub. I had the good fortune to sample a bit of their pulled pork...the genuine article. There's a sandwich of this with my name on it for my next visit.
Can't speak about the desserts -- they've got 'em...but I was there for the RIBS.
Menu is expanding this week -- there were already plenty of choices for the folks who don't care for BBQ (they must be SOMEwhere), and now there'll be more.
This place gets busy on the weekends...but a mid-week visit is nice and quiet, giving you time to savor your food and enjoy.
